NewDay provides an Intensive Outpatient Program that meets four evenings a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 5:30pm until 8:30pm. The NewDay outpatient program lasts 8 weeks. Groups are a combination of group therapy and education. Our counselors are Licensed Professional Counselors, or working on their license through supervision under a LPC Clinical Director, and are trained in the treatment of addiction disorders.

We treat addiction as a chronic and progressive condition that requires long-term recovery management. We refer our clients after completion of outpatient to ongoing support in the community through AA and NA, further counseling for specific issues, if needed, medical follow-up and continuing care meetings. We utilize all community recovery resources available.

Recovery from addiction is a life long process. Although recovery is real and a person who was addicted can improve their life 100%, if recovery is not managed long term, relapse is always a risk. At NewDay we work with clients on relapse prevention and long term Recovery Management. Through the years we’ve witnesses thousands of people in recovery who mend their relationships, go on to finish an education, gain meaningful and prosperous employment, or, most of all, gain peace of mind, but these people manage their recovery.

Celebrating Recovery

Addiction, if left untreated, creates more consequences as time goes on. Alcohol and other addictive drugs have devastating effects on the mind and body. If you or someone you know has a problem with alcohol, opiates, cocaine, marijuana, meth, Xanax or some other drug, call a NewDay counselor at 912-201-3605 — it’s confidential and the consultation is free. Making that first call is difficult, but we’ll make the process of getting into treatment easy and comfortable from there. All you have to do is call.

At NewDay, we won’t treat you for 8 weeks then turn you out unprepared. You’ll leave NewDay with a Recovery Management Plan, then it’s up to you to use the available support.

  1. Hi, Do you do drug and alcohol evaluations ? A family member was just cited with a DUI this past weekend. I was told it would be good for him to get one of these evaluations before going before the Court. Please let me know at your earliest. Thank you in advance.
